Field Manager (Mumbai serosurvey project) 


Location and duration: Mumbai, for a period of up to 3 weeks starting from August 5, 2020.

About the Role:

IDFC Institute is looking for a field manager to coordinate a COVID-19 seroprevalence study in Matunga, Mumbai. The research is commissioned by a central government agency (NITI Aayog) in partnership with the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai. It will be implemented by a group of research institutions including Kasturba Hospital, THSTI and TIFR.

Responsibilities and Duties:

The field manager will be coordinating and supporting the field teams in Matunga non-slum areas. More specifically, he/she will be in charge of:

  • Communicating with all relevant stakeholders
  • Planning the activities including camp locations for the whole duration of the study
  • Supporting and training volunteers and technicians 
  • Educating the population to the objectives and processes of the survey


Requirements and Qualifications:

    The candidate should have a medical/science background and should be a solution-oriented and motivated individual capable of working under pressure. 



    Salary will be Rs. 1,500 per day. A recommendation letter will be provided at the end of the study.
