Heralding technological advancements that could change the business model of the real estate and construction industries, and that could make affordable housing far more viable, a developer in China built a 57-story mixed-use building in 19 days using prefabricated brick.

"The prefab construction is also environmentally friendly, reducing the use of concrete trucks by about 15,000. The building was constructed with China's pollution problem in mind, using quadruple thick glass and tight construction."
