Purnima is a Senior Analyst at IDFC Institute. She works on government policy reforms and is engaged as state resource person for the Punjab State Advisory Council. Prior to joining the Institute, she worked on interdisciplinary research, planning, and strategy work in the urban realm. She has collaborated on various policy and research projects with organisations like Indian Institute of Human Settlements (IIHS), Institute of Transportation and Development Policy (ITDP), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and IIM-Lucknow.
Purnima holds a Masters in Public Policy from National Law School of India University, Bengaluru and is a trained urban planner from School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi.
