Vikram Sinha was Head, Data Governance at IDFC Institute. He oversees the Institute’s data and tech policy work and also conducts research focused on digital public infrastructure and digital competition. Prior to joining the Institute, he managed the opinion pages at Mint where he established the newspaper’s stance on data and tech policy and governance issues. Over the course of a 15-year journalism career, he has also written extensively for the editorial page of the Times of India and Daily News & Analysis.
He holds an MA in International Affairs from the George Washington University, and an MA in Political Science from Mumbai University. He graduated from Mumbai University with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism.
